What is "active trading?" PDF Print E-mail
Active Trading is a high-risk/high-return investing strategy. It's also a relatively new way to participate in the U.S. stock and securities markets. Active Trading the equities market has been a popular trading strategy since the NASDAQ launched its Small Order Execution System (SOES) to allow broker/dealers to immediately execute individual trades of 1,000 shares or fewer for investors. Day traders link to the market through our brokerage firm in real time through SOES, Electronic Communication Networks (ECNs), and NYSE SuperDOT.
