TurboTrade is pleased to announce the release of TurboTrader Elite v7.0. TurboTrader Elite 7.0 adds some fantastic new features to the Level II direct-access trading platform:

System Enhancements:

  • Batch Order Entry - Added new functionality to modify Batch Trading.
  • Set Col. Data * - Gives a trader the ability to Change data for an entire column. The columns that coincide with this function are: Action, Price, Type, TIF, Fill, Account, and Route. Changing the column data will change data for that entire column in the batch.
  • Scale Batch * - Provides a trader with the capability of Scaling a batch up or down by the following characteristics:
    • Percent Amount - Increase/Decrease the batch value by a percentage
    • Number of Shares - can scale up or down, or set the shares to a specified amount
    • Dollar Amount Bid/Ask/Last - Disperses a specified dollar amount evenly to all orders. Divides a specified Dollar Amount by the number of orders in the batch, that value is dispersed to each order. The number of shares in each order are increased by dividing the dispersed dollar amount by the Bid/Ask/Last.

*Note: Set Col. Data and Scale Batch modifies information in an already existing batch.

  • Cover Batch-Best - Changes the "Action" of all orders to cover the current action. This is done for each order within the batch. Also sets the price to the 'best' price contingent upon the side of the trade. Example: Changes all 'Buy' actions to 'Sell', all 'Sell's to 'Buy's, and all 'Short's to 'Buy to Cover' (all other "action" types will not change). Price is set as follows: if action is 'buy' the price will be set to the Bid, to receive the "Best" price. If the action is 'Sell' the price will be set to the Ask.
  • Cover Batch-Mkt - Functions in the same manner as "Cover Batch-Best", except the order type is set to market instead of Specifying a price such as Bid or Ask.
  • Create a Scaled Batch - A trader can create a scaled batch for a specified symbol and total share amount. A batch will be created scaling away from the market with the share increment and price increment stated by the trader.
  • Load Portfolio - Loads all open positions into a Batch. Action is set to close the potions, and all orders are market orders.

*Note: Cover Batch Best, Cover Batch Mkt, Create a Scaled Batch, and Load Portfolio generates a new batch.

  • Batch Monitor - Allows a trader to manage their batches. Provides percentage of completion for batches, details for each batch, and options such as: Auto-Complete, Cancel - Unwind, and Cancel Batch.
    • Auto-Complete - Completes a batch that was canceled, orders are sent for shares that were pending then canceled.
    • Cancel-Unwind - Cancels any pending orders in a batch and new orders are sent to close all original orders that were filled or part filled.
    • Show Details - Shows Order details for all orders within a specified batch.
    • New Columns added
      • Bid - Shows current bid for the each symbol in a batch
      • Ask - Shows current ask for the each symbol in a batch
      • Last - Shows current last for the each symbol in a batch
  • Symbol Defaults - Can set Default Number of Shares, Share Increment, Default Reserve Show Amount, Default Disc Amount, Price Increment, and Route for a particular symbol. A symbol with defaults that is entered into a Level II will over write the Trade Defaults set for the Level II.
  • News - Using a 'comma' between symbols, when looking up news, will pull any articles that mention any or all of the symbols inputted in the symbol field. Using a 'plus sign' between symbols, will only pull in articles that have all of the symbols mentioned.

Level II

  • Alternate Book Names - Now have the ability to change the way a book quote is labeled. Alternate book names are: INB = Instinet, ISB = Island, ARB = Archip, and BRB = Brutbk
  • Commas for Volume - Commas can be added to volume labels for easier reading in the following windows: Detailed Quote Window, Level II, and Order Summary Table
  • Name of Exchange in Header - In the title bar of a Level II window, the exchange for the symbol being viewed is noted in brackets. i.e. [NNM], [AMEX], [NYSE]...
  • Reserve Defaults - The Show amount for a reserve order can be saved as a default.

New Detailed Quote Window Features:

  • Sorting - Will sort once, by any of the columns available, i.e. Symbol, Last, Change, etc... Sorting can be done by ascending or descending order
    • Running Sort - Refreshes a sort every 3 seconds. Works well when sorting by value that fluctuates such as Change, Last, ect...
    • Symbol Counter - Keeps a current count of the number of symbols in the detailed quote window. The counter updates when a symbol is added or removed.
  • Comma for Volume - This Option provides a comma to be displayed in the volume field for easier reading.
    • Last Regular Trade Column - After hours this field posts the last "Day" trade reported, updates in the same manor as the Last column intraday.

New Portfolio Window Features:

  • Order Summary - A new table in the portfolio window. Provides the total number of executed shares of buys, sells, or Sell Shorts per symbol, also provides the company name of the symbol and the trader's user name that traded the shares. If trading a symbol all day, and you have buy, sell, and short executions then you'll have three lines of data for that symbol; a total number of executed buy shares, total executed sell share, and a total executed short shares.
  • Cancel Replace - Provides a trader with the ability to update the price or share amount of a pending order. Several routes support Cancel Replace: NYSE, AMEX, ISLD, ARCA, INCA, BRUT, ADP, and SOES (SOES only supports updating of the share amount, not price).
  • Exercise Options - Trade now has the ability to Exercise an Option on the fly. A conversion of contract to shares takes place immediately on the system to allow the trader to trade the stock position.
  • Copy Table to Clip Board - Function associated with the Open orders and Order Summary windows in the portfolio window. Copies all the data in the current window viewed, allowing the trader to paste the information into an Excel document for analysis.
  • Print/Export Tables - An Excel document is created, comprised of all the information in the portfolio window. The information is divided up by each window in the portfolio.
  • Fill Filter - In a detached Order Details Window, this function filters out details of an order to display only fills.
